The position is for our South Riding location located on Rt. 50 near Loudoun County Pkwy.

We teach life-saving skills to children in a fun, family-friendly learning environment and we want YOU to join our team! You don't need previous swimming or swim lesson experience to teach, we provide full, paid training on-site!

Hourly Wages: $16 - $24 an hour, based on qualifications and experience (bonus pay on weekends!).

Responsibilities:
  • Teach within our set swim curriculum and have students achieve goals within a given period of time.
  • Have fun! Create an amazing swim lesson experience for our swimmers.
  • Educate and enforce safety rules. Strive to prevent accidents & maintain discipline.
  • Use appropriate oral communications skills with children and coworkers.
  • Be a team player and work well with others!
  • Have a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
Requirements:
  • GENUINE love for teaching children.
  • Ability to swim; swimming background is beneficial, but not required.
  • Ability to communicate well & build relationships.
  • Availability to work evenings and/or weekends.
  • Must be able to adhere to Instructor Attendance requirement of 90% (For example, must be able to commit to teaching your assigned classes 9 weeks out of 10).
  • Previous work experience. (volunteer or paid).
  • Reliable form of transportation to/from work
  • Willingness to be in the water for 4 hours.

Member schools are independently owned and operated. Your application will go directly to the member school, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this school. Fully Paid On-Site Training
Our comprehensive, 40-50hr. Swim Instructor Training Program is provided on-site and is paid at minimum wage. Training for Customer Support Positions is also provided on-site and is paid, but the time to train varies by role!
Guaranteed Hours, Year-Round
Our class schedule doesn't change. All of our team members know exactly how many hours they will work and much money they will make each week. Every shift is a set length that never changes seasonally.
Work as few or as many hours as you want!
We have team members who work 1 or 2 shifts per week, and we have team members who work 30-40 hours per week.
